However, the vegetables, namely brocolli, carrots and mushrooms were frozen and not cooked in the right way. Hence, they tasted dried and dead. So thumbs down on the cooking effort

The chicken leg tasted pretty good though. The meat slid off the bone and wasn't tough to chew. The braised pork was very tender and easy to chew too. Thumbs up on the meat.

The Nakano location was quite empty when I came, which surprised me. I ordered the number 1 thing on their menu, the chicken and 9 kinds of veggies, original broth. The food came in less than 3 minutes, which was nice but also a bit concerning... anyways, the soup itself was OK, a bit lemony base to it. Broccoli was good. Rice was OK. I found my mind and tastebuds drifting to my favourite and what I still consider, after 5+ years in Japan, the #1 best soup curry in Tokyo (maybe Japan). All I’ll say about my favourite place is that they do not take reservations and there is always a queue, and the shop I’m thinking of is beside a hobby store that sells some sort of figurines. All in all, given the somewhat inconvenient location, I would probably not return here. If I’m to make a trip for some soup curry, I know where I’ll be going. That being said, if I lived nearby I might visit here from time to time...
N	Ng Turng Hui on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was so surprised to find this in Nakano, Tokyo. It tasted exactly the same as the one i ate at Sapporo, Hokkaido. The staff is extremely friendly. We came in around 3pm when their closing time is 3.30pm. Even though we stayed past the closing timing, they still serve us with smiles. And of course the food is delicious ?? Will definitely come back here again.
E	Erin Power on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice Hokkaido style curry in Nakano! It's a bit off the busy Nakano broadway, so a little quieter (in a very nice way). They had an English menu available which made ordering easy! I had the pork belly curry - the pork was really tender! I went with a level 4 spice which was perfect for me - the menu does a good job explaining the difference in spice (explaining the type of chili used at each level) which was really helpful with ordering. I also enjoyed a nice glass of white wine from Otaru - Japanese wines can be hit or miss for me, but I thought it was really nice and light!
