ダムの説明や宮城県内のダムの配置図などがありますが、どちらかというと野鳥や沼の伝説についての説明が多いです。長者やそれに関連する人物の説明もあり、伝説の中の登場人物たちが実在していたという記録もありました。伝承などの興味のある方は楽しめると思います。

また、2階へは立ち入り禁止となっていました。
無料なので管理されてないようでした。
