コロナ渦なので、振込で維持費を振込ますと言ったら「手持ちするのが筋だ」と。
凄いお寺になりましたね。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 府中街道から住宅街を抜けた閑静な小高い所にありました。庭は綺麗に手入れされ、墓所からは都内の建物も見えて、都内からも近い所にあるお寺さんだなと思いました。
It was in a quiet small high place through the residential area from Fuchu Kaido. The garden was beautifully maintained, and I could see the buildings in Tokyo from the graveyard, so I thought it was a temple near the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ お庭はとてもきれい、お山の上にある自然いっぱい静かで素敵なお寺です。
坐禅会や精進料理会、円空仏彫刻会等、イベントも沢山行っており、檀家さん以外の方も楽しめる空間です。
副住職著の「簡単! お寺ご飯」という精進料理レシピ本も美味しいです。
現地に足を運び、ぜひみなさんにも味わっていただきたいですね。
体に心に優しいお味ですよ。

The vegetarian recipe book "Easy! Temple Rice" by the vice priest is also delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 多摩川三十四ヵ所観音霊場の参拝でお伺いしました。
天台宗のお寺で金剛山福昌寺といい、観音霊場第十三番札所になります。
御本尊は阿弥陀如来で、霊場御本尊は珍しい魚藍観世音菩薩(丈八寸)です。
福昌寺の創建年代は不詳ながら、僧惠賢が開山したといい寛文年間(1661年～1673年)の検地帳に福生寺と記されていて、後に現在の福昌寺と改めたといいます。
御本尊の阿弥陀如来は恵心僧都源信作と伝えられています。
境内の墓地には寛永年間に菅や登戸を知行した五千石の旗本中根壱岐守正盛一族の墓があります。
