収容する遺跡公園です。
▪️林立する高層の団地・集合住宅に囲まれ
てはいますが、逆に存在感が際立つ古墳
ゾーンを形成しています。
洛西ニュータウンの造成が契機となって
発掘調査後に9基が保存され、その中の
２基 (福西古墳7・10号) が北福西町の
史跡公園として現地にて整備保存されて
います。

阪急京都線/桂駅よりレンタサイクルが
いちばん効率的です。
アップダウンのある変化に富む地形の
ため電動アシスト車を借りましたが～
¥410でした (阪急レンタサイクル)。
