★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 伝承では、福本の白兎神社は西暦８４０年前後に位をいただいたそうです。
大正時代の神社合祀で、ご神体は宮谷の「賀茂神社」に、社殿は下門尾の「青龍寺」に遷されました。住職にお伺いして、事情が良ければ、本堂に参拝することができます。
節分などの機会には、誰でも参拝できます。
祭神は、大兎明神（おおと）です
According to tradition, Fukumoto's Shirasu Shrine was ranked around 840 AD.
The shrine was transferred to the "Kamo Shrine" in Miyatani, and the shrine to the "Blue Dragon Temple" in Shimonadoo in the Taisho era Shinto shrine. You can visit the main hall if the circumstances are good.
Anyone can visit on the occasion of Setsubun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 因幡の白兎の伝承で有名な鳥取市白兎603の白兎神社と異なる伝承を持つ神社です。
この地の伝承
天照大神が八上郡に降臨された時、一匹の白うさぎが女神の裾をひっぱって、行宮（かりのみや／一時的に神様が滞在される住まい）へ案内したというものです。大国主命と因幡の白ウサギとは異なる伝承です。
西約2kmの霊石山（れいせき）山腹にには御子岩と呼ばれる岩があります。天照大神降臨の際、道案内の神として猿田彦命が先導し、この岩に「冠」を置いて標石としたと伝えれれています。
ここより北約1kmの青龍寺（鳥取県八頭郡八頭町下門尾46）の本堂内に当社の本殿が安置されています。一見の価値があります。

It is a shrine with a different tradition from the Hakuto Shrine at 603 Hakuto, Tottori City, which is famous for the tradition of Inaba's Hakuto.
Folklore of this place
When Amaterasu Omikami descended to Yagami-gun, a white rabbit pulled the hem of the goddess and guided him to Gyomiya (Karimiya / the residence where the god temporarily stays). It is a different tradition from Okuninushi and Inaba's White Rabbit.
There is a rock called Mikoiwa on the hillside of Mt. Reiseki, about 2km west. It is said that when Amaterasu Omikami descended, Sarutahiko Omi led the way as a god of directions, and placed a "crown" on this rock to make it a stone.
Our main shrine is enshrined in the main hall of Seiryuji Temple (46 Shimokadoo, Yazu-cho, Yazu-gun, Tottori Prefecture) about 1 km north of here. Worth a look.
