★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious. One of the best tantanmen shops in Hiroshima (and perhaps Japan). The selection of shezuan peppers to accompany the noodles takes it to another level. The taste is superbly addicting, and it is very reasonably priced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious noodles in thick sauce. I had the none spicy sesame one. Have a drink with it, otherwise the thick sauce can get a bit too heavy. Friendly staff. English menu available.

Basically tan tan men with no soup. You can pick how spicy you want it and basically they boost the sansho (prickly ash) level. Had the zero which is not spicy and added the sansho which is in front of you.
They had a few different versions.
From what I remember I loved it... Will come back when sober.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is exactly what I was looking for. If you're looking for a quick lunch with a punch this place is for you. They offer various levels of spicy ramen. The most spicy of which is labeled"Death". I just ate the "Death" ramen and I'm fairly confident that if I had COVID this stuff just murdered it. (Warning!! This is not the usual level of spice that Japanese eat. This is full blown Indian or Thai level of spice. I ordered the Death becuase I expected it not to be at the levels of spicy that I like. I was wrong. I'm absolutely stuffed on water. This stuff is very spicy).
