★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pricey but it is worth it. I came down on a sunday for lunch and it was busy. Ordered Hire-tonkatsu and was nicely suprise but the size of the hire. It was pretty much a steak of hire. And it was delicious! Not to mention that Shijimi (shellfish) miso soup that came with it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No English menu but the staff was kind about helping when we ordered and explained how to eat everything! Pork cutlet was a thick cut, fatty, and melted in your mouth. Served with cabbage, rice, pickled radish, and miso soup. Very delicious! Many customers came in, individually, and read/ate, then left as we were there. A bit pricier (our bill was $26.73/2 people) than I think you can get katsu for here, but definitely worth every bite!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Tonkatsu, freshly prepared . The meat is very tender and tasty. Rice is also top notch. Located approximately 10 minutes away from Nakameguro station, not far from Meguro river. The venue is nice and clean. Will definitely come back (especially since there are not that many Tonkatsu restaurants in the area)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious, juicy, tender tonkatsu along with fried oysters and prawns! Menu is in mostly in Japanese, but they have some English translation. Be sure to use the homemade orange citrus dressing on the cabbage!

Nustled just slight away from the Naka Meguro River along the main road lies this little Tonkatsu Restaurant.
The serve pork from 2 different prefectures, each having their own fat characteristics and flavour. And the signature of the restaurant is the Tomahawk Pork Cutlet. 300g of porky, fatty melt in your mouth of goodness.
The fat bursts the moment you bite into it, making for an insanely messy bite in your mouth. And the Katsu was beautifully fried with little Panko flowers which form on the surface, adding volume to your crunchy experience.
You can enjoy it with their Tonkatsu sauce, Yuzu Kosho, Salt, Shichimi, lemon and Japanese Mustard(Karachi). If you are in the Naka Meguro river waiting to enter the beautiful Starbucks Reserve Roastery which I will post next, you can come here for a bite while chilling and waiting for your turn! You will not be disappointed!!
