Best Supermarket in japan

H	Howard Thomas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a massive supermarket but has a wide range of products and and is an easy 20 min walk to Haneda airport mostly on brand-new footpaths.
D	Doug Ewing on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice selection of sushi/sashimi bento if you are staying in the area for a flight. Prices are reasonable. Selection of other grocery items is also much more extensive than Seven Eleven or Family Mart.
M	Matthew Chalmers on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hard to believe that a huge supermarket like this only accepts cash. Their ATM wasn't accepting cards that day so had to run to seven 11 to get a cash advance. I understand many places in Japan don't accept credit card but a large supermarket right next to Haneda Airport shouldn't be one of them. It's not 1990. On a positive note, the staff were lovely. Sorry to the poor man who had to come back from his break and re scan my 10,000 yen worth of items on his break.
E	EK Lim on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have quite an extensive groceries among the lowest priced tag compared to other store. They provide trolley that allows toddler to sit while you stroll. There is small area available for seating.

Food section is running sales after 8pm where you can get half price bento and snacks. Highly recommended if you stay near to the airport and need to buy some groceries and quick bites.

They also have a very good selection of fresh ready to eat food, hot and cold, like 600yen for a tray of sashimi, or 500yen for a package of tempura meat with rice. We actually ate supermarket meals fairly often while visiting Japan, since the food was very good and very cheap. The only negative here is that they accept cash only.

Sorry, I can’t read Kanji so I didn’t know that the checkout I picked was cash only. How about a sign i. English that says cash only? I don’t expect this in other areas of Japan but Given the fact that this supermarket is very close to HND Airport and surrounded by hotels with international visitors who also visit this shop, I think it would be of great benefit.
