C	Chris Crowley on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious sushi with a wonderfully hospitable owner. We had Saba, Tai, Toro, Sake, Maguro, Hamachi, Ebi, and Tamago. One person in the party has dietary restrictions, and he was very understanding and accommodating. There are nigiri pieces or hand rolls (temake) available only. There are also udon and soba noodles. Sake, sochu, and beer are available. Prices are reasonable, nigiri pieces are 120¥ and up to 390¥. The interior is clean but not fancy. Seating is at the sushi bar or on mats at a low table. This is a Japanese style nigiri restaurant that is welcoming to English speakers.

Ordering is done on paper (Japanese or English) and both the chef and server are conversational in English. A generous amount of nigiri and two drinks came out to just below ¥5000, excellent value for the quality of food and service.

We ordered about 25 pieces of sushi as well as edamame and the curry udon. All of it was great, especially the fatty tuna and salmon. If I find myself in the neighborhood again I would absolutely come back.
