蔵書数は多くないものの、絵本コーナーが広い。
One of the few libraries on Etajima.

ただし、受付にいるパートのおばさん同士のおしゃべりがうるさいのが難点。

ここはかつて鷲部小学校でした。
実は浜田省吾が卒業生。
そのため、小学校の後続施設としても有名です。
そして、中庭には以前山田バス停にあった浜田省吾ゆかりのベンチが設置してあり、ファンの聖地としてお全国から多くの方が訪れる場所でもあります。
また、図書館内には浜田省吾コーナーも有り、ファンの間で大人気の「浜田省吾 ON THE ROAD 江田島 初恋のきた島 江田島」というA3を四つ折りにした冊子もあります。
無料で持って帰ることができるので、ファンの方は開館日に訪ねてみてください。
A place that is the base of the Etajima City Library. Because it is possible to read while looking at the sea, it is a place where people on the island 10 km away also bother to visit.

Actually, Shogo Hamada is a graduate.
Therefore, it is famous as a successor to elementary school.
In the courtyard, there is a bench related to the Hamada Shogo that used to be at the Yamada bus stop.
There is also a Hamada Shogo corner in the library, and there is also a booklet that folds the A3 called “Hamada Shogo ON THE ROAD Edajima (Etajima Island)” which is very popular among fans.
You can take it home for free, so if you are a fan, please visit on the opening day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 知る人ぞ知る、浜田省吾さんが通っていた小学校の跡地。有志のファンの方が、省吾氏の記事スクラップや、貴重な写真を集めて中庭に貼り付けてくれています。語ることはたくさんあるのですが、詳しくはぜひあなた自身の目で確かめてみてください。隣は育児関連施設なのか、子どもたちの楽しそうな笑い声が響いており、癒やされました。
The site of the elementary school where Shogo Hamada attended, which everyone in the know knows. Volunteer fans collect scraps of Shogo's articles and valuable photos and paste them in the courtyard. There's a lot to talk about, but be sure to check it out for yourself. Perhaps it was a childcare-related facility next door, the children's happy laughter echoed and healed me.
