★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大阪の台所として有名な「黒門市場」が、明治時代に「圓明寺市場」と呼ばれていたことは、意外に知られていません。
江戸時代の文政年間、黒塗りの山門を構えた圓明寺が市場の西側にあり、その山門の前で魚商人らが市を出したのが起源といわれています。
しかし、明治45年の難波大火で寺院・山門ともに焼失しました。
その後、「圓明寺の黒い門」が市場の名前として引き継がれ、「黒門市場」と呼ばれるようになり、戦後「大阪の胃袋」として賑わい始め、年末には1日約15万人以上が買い物に訪れます。
一方、「圓明寺」は照ヶ丘矢田に移転し、現在に至っています。
この場所は西除天道川の川跡で、天道川（天井川）が磯歯津（しはつ）路(長居公園通)と交差する南側にありますので、旧西除川をたどってみようとする人たちの、目印にもなります。

After that, "Kuromon Market" was taken over as the name of the market, and it became known as "Kuromon Market". After the war, it became popular as "Osaka's stomach", and at the end of the year, more than 150,000 people went shopping a day. I will visit.
On the other hand, "Enmyoji" has moved to Terugaoka Yata and continues to this day.
This place is the site of the Nishiyoke River, which is on the south side where the Tendou River (hanging river) intersects Isototsu Road (Nagai Koen-dori), so people who try to follow the old Nishiyoke River. It can also be a landmark for us.
