三輪山とも深い関係のある天皇で、実在していたこともほぼ間違いないでしょう。
階段を上がった小高い場所にあります。
これと言って何かあるわけではありませんが、歴史に思いをはせれば感慨もひとしお。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大神神社の喧騒から少し離れた所にあります。階段が少し大変ですが、そこはとても清浄な感じがします。改めてしっかりお祈りしました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 崇神天皇の御霊が小高い丘にひっそりと祀られている。大物主命を祀る拝殿の賑やかさとは対照的だ。国を初めて統治した天皇を意味するﾊﾂｸﾆｼﾗｽｽﾒﾗﾉﾐｺﾄと称された人物。本来なら大物主並の社が用意されてもいいだろうと思いがちだが、大物主は「大いなる物の怪」、ただ者ではないのである。
鳥居から数えて ６０段の階段を登ると一陣の風が吹き、廻りの木々がざわめく。小生の礼拝を歓迎してくれたようであった。ホンマかいな？
