★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 個数が多いのに、とても買いやすい価格帯。ひと口サイズで、お土産にちょうど良い。ただし、商品の袋が閉じていないので、平置きのままか、縦置きにして持ち帰らないと、粉や餅が袋から出てきてしまいます。
6個入りや7個入りだと、ビニールに入ってるので、その心配はないよと親切に教えてくれました。
The price range is very easy to buy even though the number is large. A bite size, just right as a souvenir. However, since the product bag is not closed, powder and straw will come out of the bag if left flat or not taken home.
When it was 6 or 7 pieces, it was in vinyl, so they kindly told me that I didn't have to worry about that.

「亀屋」の「川通り餠」
広島駅の新幹線改札の近くekieの専売店で購入。
川通り餠は地元民にとってなじみのある菓子。
もみじ饅頭は全国区になったけど、こちらは賞味期限が短いこともあって広島だけ。
15個入りで730円という手ごろな価格も魅力なんだよね～
今回は手土産と自宅用に7個入り380円も購入。
家に帰って一つ。
小袋から串をだすと、きな粉におおわれた求肥。
とろける食感に、胡桃のアクセントが効いてていいね～
昔から変わらない味♪
「川通り餅」の由来はHPによると、
西暦1350年、毛利元就の祖先である師親が、石見の国の佐波善四郎との戦いで、江の川を渡ろうとしたとき、水面に小石が浮かび上がり、鐙（あぶみ）に引っかかりました。師親はそのまま戦い、大勝利になりました。これは神の助けに違いないと、小石を持ち帰り八幡宮に奉納しました。師親がおさめる安芸国吉田の庄では、これを祝って、餅を小石に見立てて食べる風習が生まれ、この餅は「川通り餅」と呼ばれるようになりました。元就の孫にあたる輝元が広島城に移ると、この風習は広島に広がりました。（参考：芸藩通志 芸備今昔話)

In 1350 B.D., when a teacher-in-law, the ancestor of Mori Motonari, tried to cross the Enogawa River in a battle with Iwami-no-San Yoshiro, pebbles floated on the surface of the water and caught in a trap. The master and the father continued to fight and became a big victory. This must have been God's help, and he brought back pebbles and dedicated him to Hachimangu. In Akikuni Yoshida's nephew, where the teacher and the parent hold, to celebrate this, a custom was created that resembles a mochi with pebbles, and this mochi is now called "kawadori mochi".
