★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very pleasant spot. This is actually a series of sporting fields. Baseball, softball and a couple of other sports. There is a high bank (the river bank) cover in grass, so you can sit and relaxing watching some random game. Take a bento and a beer. Easy access from the station.

The Chiba side of the Edo River is a great spot to watch from without paying for a reserved seat. Plan to arrive about 2 hours before the event starts to pick your spot, and bring along enough food and drinks. Portable toilets are provided and the seating areas are numbered to prevent people from getting too lost in the dark.
