I figured it would be just a quick trim like back home but barber shops are hard to find back home. They sat me down in a full fledged barber's chair and then went to work. Even straight razored my ears which I have never experienced and thought it was worth the 1k yen alone in my opinion. The entire shop has a youthful nature to it while still holding on to the mainstays of what I perceive as a traditional barber shop. Although a little on the pricier side, this was absolutely worth. This was not a haircut but an experience one should not miss. I went for the full treatment: trim with a razor fade, shampoo, and shave. I could not believe the extent of service. The trim was almost 30 minutes and the best haircut I've ever received. The shave was superb and a full treatment. I would definitely return.
