★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ｢象の檻｣と呼ばれている防衛省の円形のアンテナ施設です。30本以上ある鉄塔が円形に並んでいてその直径も100m以上あり壮観です。電気的に指向性を切り替えるタイプの電波傍受施設だと思いますが、それはともかく見てくれが綺麗なので気に入っています。防衛施設なので当然入れません。駐車も竜ヶ山球場の駐車場をちょっと借りて見に行きました。徒歩だと高松町の駅から西へ20分程度です。車で5分の所に有名?なベタ踏み坂もあるのでついでにここもどうでしょうか。
It is a circular antenna facility called the "elephant cage" of the Ministry of Defense. It is spectacular with over 30 steel towers lined up in a circle with a diameter of more than 100 m. I think it is a type of radio wave interception facility that electrically switches the directivity, but I like it because it is beautiful to see. Since it is a defense facility, of course I cannot enter it. For parking, I borrowed a parking lot at Ryugayama Stadium and went to see it. It is about 20 minutes west from Takamatsucho station on foot. There is a famous solid slope in 5 minutes by car, so how about here as well?
