★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 守光院はさいたま市南区太田窪5ー１1ー９曹洞宗の寺院です。境内も広くお庭も綺麗に手入れされて気持ち良く参拝出来ました。
Shukoin is a temple of the Soto sect, 5-11-9 Daitakubo, Minami-ku, Saitama City. The precincts were wide and the garden was well maintained and I was able to worship comfortably.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ どういうわけか全体に新品な感じですけど説明を読むと歴史は古い。2022年NHK大河ドラマに出てくる佐々木兄弟が要塞を作ったそうだ。
For some reason, it looks new overall, but when you read the explanation, the history is old. It is said that the Sasaki brothers who appear in the 2022 NHK Taiga drama built a fortress.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What lovely, genuine and down-to-earth people. I went to an advertised "zazenkai for foreigners" session (second and fourth Sunday of the month at 7am) and was warmly and graciously welcomed. A beautiful temple and garden to visit, and to participate in if you're a zazen practitioner.
