★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駅名の通り、大山への北の玄関口となっており、本数は多くありませんが、大山への路線バスも発着しています。
伝統的建造物群保存地区に指定されている所子集落も徒歩圏内（1km程度）にあります。
As the station name suggests, it is the northern gateway to Oyama, and although there are not many buses, there are also regular buses to Oyama.
The Tokoko village, which is designated as a traditional buildings preservation area, is also within walking distance (about 1 km).
