引接山大蓮寺 – 安産祈願の寺・洛陽八番観音霊場 - Anzan-no-tera.jp

後光明天皇が大蓮寺に夫人の安産祈願を命じたことから、「安産祈願の寺」として知られるようになりました。本尊阿弥陀如来の他に札所本尊として十一面観音を安置し、洛陽三十三観音霊場第8番札所となっています。また、明治から大正にかけて、当寺の僧であった籏玄教は「走り坊主」の通称で知られ、奇行や貧困層に対する施しは、京都名物として有名で、大正7年の新聞紙面で「今一休」とたたえられています。
