★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 深夜のお弁当お惣菜割引購入のお約束店舗の一軒。節約貯金の為には大切なお店です。深夜一時まで営業してくれているので、都内勤めの人間は助かります。西八王子駅前のランドマークな場所だと思います。何気に、ココと反対側のミニストップの5円コピーは画質がいいのでヘビーユーザーです。ありがたい。これからも活用させて頂きますね。
 One of the stores that promises to purchase discounted lunch boxes and side dishes at midnight. It is an important shop for saving money. It is open until midnight, so people working in Tokyo will be saved. I think it is a landmark place in front of Nishi-Hachioji Station. Anyway, the 5 yen copy of Ministop on the opposite side of here is a heavy user because the image quality is good. Thank you. I will continue to use it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昔からあるダイエー。駅近で買い物に便利。但し駐車場だけは線路向こうにある。駅前なのでバス、タクシー、人いっぱい。交番もある。ダイエー前に車を停めると迷惑千万の強い視線を浴びると思う。
A traditional Daiei. Convenient for shopping near the station. However, only the parking lot is over the tracks. It's in front of the station, so there are buses, taxis, and lots of people. There is also a police box. I think that if you park your car in front of Daiei, you will get a lot of annoying eyes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 品揃えは微妙、一通りそろっているが少しハズれている感じ、生鮮食品の鮮度もイマイチです。（近隣の別のスーパーと比較して）
立地が良く深夜まで営業しているのが唯一の強み。
自宅が近くなければ積極的に行く理由は見当たりません。
The assortment is delicate, and although it is complete, it feels a little lost, and the freshness of fresh food is not good. (Compared to another supermarket in the neighborhood)
Its only strength is that it is in a good location and is open until midnight.
There is no reason to go aggressively unless my home is near.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ かつては忠実屋という地元スーパーが経営していました。この西八王子店は、1968年に忠実屋西八王子店としてオープンしました。八王子市のグルメシティとダイエーはみな、忠実屋のチェーン店だったのです。
それから、紆余曲折あって……
現在ダイエーはＡＥＯＮグループの傘下企業となりました。西八王子店はエレベーターが増設され、商品の品揃えと陳列方法もかなり現代風になっています。地下階には100均が、3階には薬局が入居しました。
不思議なことに建物は忠実屋時代から変わらないまま。懐かしく、かつ頼もしい店に変貌しました。
It used to be run by a local supermarket called Tadamiya. This Nishi-Hachioji store was opened in 1968 as Tadashiya Nishi-Hachioji store. Hachioji City's Gourmet City and Daiei were all chain stores of Tadamiya.
And there are twists and turns ...
Daiei is now part of the AEON Group. The Nishi Hachioji store has an additional elevator and the product assortment and display method are quite modern. The basement floor has 100 beds, and the third floor has a pharmacy.
Strangely, the building has not changed since the faithful era. It turned into a nostalgic and reliable shop.

1階は惣菜やパンなどがあり、2階は生鮮食品、お菓子、インスタントなどがおいてあります。
普通のスーパーといった感じで、特にここがいいということはないですが、十分です。
駅から近いので便利な立地にあると思います。
セールのときの野菜が安いです。
ネットスーパーもやっているようなので、近くではない方はそちらを利用しても良さそうです。
