捻じれたヒノキが有名ですが
あまり人がいなくて、静寂の中、ゆっくりと紅葉狩り出来ますよ

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この時期は冬枯れの古寺の佇まいがなかなかいい。
冬でも苔はきれいで人気が一段と少ないので、ゆっくりと楽しみたい。
三輪のこの辺りの地区は全くマイナーだが、かなり良い。

駐車場は寺のすぐ近くの墓地の前、目立つところにあります。
雰囲気のある門をくぐると真直ぐな石畳、両サイドに灯篭が立つ道を奥へ、すると捻じれた大ヒノキが姿を現し、奥に進むと本堂だ。
苔が生い茂り、清掃も行き届きしっかりと手入れをされていることがわかる。住職さんが軽く声をかけてくれたりと良い印象だった。

The parking lot is conspicuous in front of the graveyard near the temple.
If you pass through the atmospheric gate, you will find a straight stone pavement, a path with lanterns on both sides, and a large twisted cypress will appear.
It can be seen that the moss is overgrown and the cleaning is thorough and well maintained. It was a good impression that the priest gave us a light voice.

京都東福寺の影響を受けたと言われています。
苔が一面に美しく市松模様の石畳が素晴らしい。
大智寺が開かれたのは鎌倉時代と言うから約800年前。写真の大智寺の大ヒノキも樹齢800年。
江戸時代には葵の紋を許された格式高い御庭です。

It is said to have been influenced by Tofukuji Temple in Kyoto.
The moss is beautiful all over and the checkered cobblestones are wonderful.
It is said that Daichiji was opened in the Kamakura period, about 800 years ago. The large cypress at Daichiji Temple in the photo is also 800 years old.
It is a prestigious garden where the Aoi crest was allowed in the Edo period.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 門をくぐると、落雷により損傷を受けたことで、ねじり曲がりながらも成長した大木が迎えてくれます。その姿に圧巻でした。静まりかえった場所にいるだけで、心に安らぎを与えてくれます。紅葉の時期にも、訪れてみたいです。
Passing through the gate, you will be greeted by a large tree that has grown while twisting due to damage caused by a lightning strike. I was overwhelmed by the appearance. Just being in a quiet place will give you peace of mind. I would like to visit during the autumn colors.
