The cappuccino comes with Valrhona sprinkles on top and the barkeeper insists you have the first sip right after he puts the cup on your table (yeah, he knows his s**t). And speaking of, the one barkeeper/owner is the coolest cat in Higashi-Nakano and the other one with the beard a sly dog behind the bar.
They put so called "today's curiosities" on each table, a wonderful way to kill time!
The name GALLAGE is a mélange originated out of College, Village, and Garage.. the correct pronunciation is: /'galɪdʒ/
5 stars for the coffee.. no doubt about that,
however 800¥ for a cup (if you order after 7pm) seems a tad greedy, so only 4 stars left in total. :-(
