MOA美術館の敷地内に有ります。

尾形光琳が晩年過ごしたと言われている
住まいを復元した建物。
京都国立博物館の「尾形光琳重要関係資料」から自筆の図面と大工の仕様帖に基ずいたもの。
江戸時代の上層町衆の数寄屋建築。
国宝「紅白梅図屏風」をこの家で描いたのではないかと言われているそうです。
二階建でした(二階に絵所のアトリエ)が有るようです。

落ち着いた佇まいのように想いました
(内部は見学でき不可でした)
MOAに行かれた時は是非見学を…今は見られない建築様式(昔の建物、見学出来る建物が少なく成ってしまいました)

Sukiya architecture of the upper townspeople of the Edo period.
It is said that the national treasure "Red and White Plum Blossoms" was drawn in this house.
It was a two-story building (the atelier of the painting shop on the second floor).
