★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ここは葛西用水が元荒川の下へ潜り込み元荒川下を通り反対側へと流れる川の立体交差です。
このような川の立体交差を「伏せ越し」と言います。
反対側の地上に出た所には石碑が在ります。
越谷市には伏せ越しが二ヶ所在ります。
もう一つはキャンベルタウン野鳥の森公園や定使近野公園近くで葛西用水が古利根川の下を通ります。
