さ	さち on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 渋谷駅から徒歩１０分、駅から遠いので、映画上映時間開始に合わせ余裕をもって、家を出るといいです。劇場はお世辞にも綺麗とはいえないが、ミニシアターらしく、上映特集に合わせたポスターが目を引く。 It's a 10-minute walk from Shibuya station and far from the station, so it's a good idea to leave the house with plenty of time to start the movie. The theater isn't as beautiful as a compliment, but like a mini theater, the posters that match the screening feature are eye-catching.
櫻	櫻井広明 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 良い面は他の方々が挙げられているので、自分が星１つ減点した理由について。男子トイレの出入口が内開きの扉なのですが、開けた時に、２つある流し台の"出入口側にある流し"前に立っている人にぶつかる作りになっているのが不便。また、女性従業員メインで運営しているせいか、手拭き用ペーパーが切らしていることが多いような。 Because the others are listed on the good side, about the reason why I reduced one star. R	Richard Seery on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great cinema. They usually do some interesting old Hollywood seasons. I have seen some good film noir, Fritz Lang Lubistch and Orson Welles seasons here.
S	Sai on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This little place in Shibuya has become one of my favourites. For as long as I'm in Tokyo, I'll be a fan. It's a little theater which screens a set of films over a few weeks with a similar theme. The theme could be screwball comedies from the Depression era, Russian films from the '50s, Joan Fontaine / Olivia de Havilland films, Humphrey Bogart films etc. Students with a valid student ID card get 50% off, so at times I would stay back to watch 2-3 movies on the same day. I watched some of my all time favourites - My Man Godfrey (1936), Midnight (1939), The Maltese Falcon (1940) and Casablanca (1942) - in this very theater. What a relief to see a theater that celebrates great movies over the years!
