N	NRT Exp on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ランチ時に初訪問しました。オリオン餃子小山駅前店は、JR小山駅西口ロータリーの角地に存在し、ここに陣を構えた意図に攻めの意気込みを感じます。店内は〝ダイニングバー〟といった趣のスタイリッシュな造りで、来店ターゲットを若者やビジネスマンに想定していると思われます。〝自家製餃子〟〝豚骨醤油拉麺〟が看板にありましたので、二つが味わえる「オリオン餃子定食半麺セット」をオーダーしました。〝豚骨醤油拉麺〟は、太いストレート麺に、のり・煮たまご・ほうれん草・豚バラチャーシューがトッピングされており、家系で濃厚な豚骨ラーメンに仕上がっています。スープはクリーミーな豚骨醤油で、コクを感じる本格派です(個人的には煮たまごが少々塩味が強く、バランスがイマイチと感じました)。肝心の〝自家製餃子〟ですが、あんの良さをいま一つ引き出せ切れない、ウェルダンかつオイリーな焼き具合でちょっと残念でした(~_~;)。〝焼き〟に関しては店舗で違いが出ると思われ、小山駅前店については、再教育が必要かもしれません。なお、セットのライスについては最近食べた餃子店の中では一番と言えるくらい、お米の良さを引き出す美味しい炊き加減でした。リピーターに重きを置き、多数派を占めるアッパーミドル・シルバー層を取り込むことを考えるのであれば、〝ウェルダン〟で〝オイリー〟なラインナップだけでなく、通い続けられる、〝あっさり〟〝ライト〟なラインナップも欲しいところ。エッジの効いたスタイリッシュな展開だけでなく、〝通い続けられる〟店に脱皮できるか、今後の展開に注目です。 I visited for the first time at lunch.
