兵庫県明石市二見町東二見の長徳禅寺（井上安邦住職）で、ハスの花が見頃を迎えている。梅雨空の下、静かな境内で白やピンクの大輪が、凜とした姿で咲き誇っている。
約１５年前から井上住職がハスを育て始め、現在では花の形や色の違った約３０種計約７０鉢が並ぶ。今年は例年よりも１週間ほど早く６月中ごろから早生の品種が咲き始めたという。
７月末ごろまでが見頃で、「縁側に腰掛けて、ゆっくり、じっくりと見てほしい」と井上住職。同寺のホームページ（ｈｔｔｐ：／／ｗｗｗ．ｃｈｏｔｏｋｕｚｅｎｊｉ．ｊｐ）で開花状況などを紹介している。参拝自由で、開門は午前６時～午後６時。同寺ＴＥＬ０７８・９４２・１１７５
