★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 気仙沼大島の南にあるお寺です。近くの旅館「黒潮」さんに宿泊したら、朝このお寺に散歩しながらお参りもいいかもしれません。気仙沼大島は、静かで自然豊かな島で、この長命寺付近も、普通にタヌキやキジをみかけます。境内はとてもきれいに整備されていて、深呼吸すると身が清められていくような感じさえしますね。なお、大島でも有名な観光地「竜舞崎」は、この近くです。そちらも、ゆっくりと散策するのに良いところですので、おすすめです。
It is a temple in the south of Kesennuma Oshima. If you stay at the nearby inn "Kuroshio", you may want to visit this temple in the morning while taking a walk. Kesennuma Oshima is a quiet and natural island, and you can usually see raccoon dogs and pheasants near Chomeiji Temple. The precincts are very well maintained and it even feels like you're getting cleansed when you take a deep breath. The famous tourist destination "Ryubuzaki" on Oshima is near here. It is also a good place to take a leisurely stroll, so I recommend it.
