「応保年間（平安時代）、平治の乱に源氏の将来を案じて一族中ただ一人平家と行動を共にした源頼政公が、当時草庵程度の小寺を創建し、源氏の繁栄を祈願したのが開基と伝わる。その後、嘉禄年間（鎌倉時代）、源頼朝の室政子の方が鹿島参拝の折、当寺に参詣され、その衰微を嘆いて復興を命じ、再建されたのを機に真言宗から臨済宗に変わる。この時、後鳥羽院ご下賜の延命地蔵を安置して建立されたのが地蔵堂といわれ、今も安産子育ての守護菩薩として信仰を集めている。山号は、政子の方の法名（長松院殿如実二位禅尼）にちなみ長松山と号し、江戸時代以降は曹洞宗に改宗している」

After that, during the Karaku era (Kamakura period), Ms. Masako Muro of Minamoto no Yoritomo visited the temple when he visited Kashima. At that time, it was said that Jizo-do was built with the extended life Jizo of Gotoba-in, and it is still revered as a guardian bodhisattva for easy child-rearing. It was named Nagamatsuyama after the legal name of "Nagamatsuinden Niomi No. 2 Zen Medun" and has been converted to the Soto sect since the Edo period. "

夏には蓮か睡蓮か分かりませんが、水辺に咲きそうです
