金曜日の夜、一人で利用。名物の珍萬丼と棒餃子を注文。蒲田の中華料理屋は人が多い印象だったが比較的空いていてゆっくりと食事ができた。各テーブルは6人席が多いのでグループでも難なく入れそう。

いつ来てもホッとする。なんだかんだでいつでも半年くらい間が空いてしまうが、それでも定期的に立ち寄る。 餃子が皮からオリジナルで別注をかけるこだわりのもの。モチモチとした大陸の餃子らしい餃子でお腹にもたまるいいもの。本当に好み。これは必ず何人前か頼む。 それに珍萬丼を注文。これは言葉にすると中華の餡掛け丼で醤油仕立て、海鮮と肉の入る豪華なやつ、となろうか。どうにもクセになる。陳さんはわりと甘めに味を決めるのだがそれが好みでうれしい。 レバニラ炒めはこれでもか、とレバーが入ってくる。もっと野菜くれよ、とも思うがいや、これはこの配分でバランスしているな、と理解できる。これも口当たり優しい尖らせない味付けで、町中華でよくある塩でエッジを立てて短時間でかき込む感じの爽快で汗だく、みたいな方向にはしていない。じわりとくる旨みや穏やかな味付けであの手の熱量高い町中華とは一線を画す。 どの料理も真面目に仕込みをゼロベースからやっているようでオリジナリティというよりも真面目さが強く出ると感じる。 返す返すもクルマで来ているのが残念だがビールがなくとも旨いものは旨い。飲りたけりゃあみやげで買って帰ればいい。持ち帰り、当然できる。 中国人の彼が作る料理はもちろん本格的なものもあるが優しい味にするものが多く、四川や東北料理のように特徴的な鋭さはない。それがいい。そこがいい。面倒もなく注文したものが想像したどうりの味で、なおかつ想像よりももう少しおいしい。その「想像よりも少しだけおいしい」というバランスに心奪われる。食事が主役すぎない、皆で行って楽しくやれる雰囲気と味。中華の食堂の真骨頂であろう。 こんな時期なのに地元客が通い支える愛すべき店。
