★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice little hidden gem off the beaten path. They cook your Hiroshima-yaki and bring it to the table. The flavors were wonderful. I had the classic and I would for sure come back here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have never had such lukewarm food in a teppanyaki restaurant before in my life! I’ve had teppanyaki in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Yokohama, Kanazawa...but never have I had to sit at a table with a pan that’s not turned on. The okonomiyaki took 1 and a half hour to arrive, only for all 5 of them to be served lukewarm! Very disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a pretty unpleasant experience here. I've eaten okonomiyaki dozens of times at dozens of places, including the Chinchikurin in Little Tokyo, which is excellent. Ironically, the okonomi at this Chinchikurin in Hiroshima was just OK. The building is old and the seat cushions were dirty. Worst of all, the restaurant allows smoking in all sections.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is absolutely fantastic. Every one of the staff were cheerful, polite, encouraging and helpful. We sat right in front of the grill and watched everything being prepared. The food was a real treat and well worth the effort. They do not scimp on the portions so you will not go home hungry. I would definitely visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were stopped at the door by a staff member who told us there was no place inside the restaurant for our group of 4 people so we decided to wait outside for a while. In that time another japanese group came and were seated right away. So I don't really know if the staff didn't let us in because we were foreigners or what but overall it was a very awkward situation. I don't really recommend this restaurant at all since I wasn't allowed inside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had to try Hiroshima-style Okonomiyaki in Hiroshima. Was not disappointing, but this was not something that excited my taste buds, was real filling though. Teppanyaki/Izakaya restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great okonomikayi! I recommend the shoburi okonomikayi. For non Japanese speakers, you order from a touch screen which can be changed to English. If you're a tourist looking for the experience, ask to sit at the counter so you can watch the chef make it!
