I had the Seafood with Soba Noodles.
The noodles were nice and tasty, and it was just right. The prawns tasted quite nice and crisp. The sauce was flavourful.
The decor (and seating) is simple and minimalist.
The only thing that is optional is the beer. You go up to counter to order beer.
I would come back if I was in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent udon with lots of options for different interesting types I’ve never had before. The iberico ham was tasty but didn’t include as much meat. The butatoronikuudon was effing fantasbulous. Slow cooked pork with chikuwa tempura.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic udon noodles. Pretty easy paying & ordering from a vending machine. It looks like a predominantly Japanese restaurant (which is a good thing) but there is an English menu hanging on the right on the side of the vending machine if you need help. There are pictures and basic translations on the menu. I ordered the #51 (pictured): cold udon with succulent shrimp tempura. I thought 920 yen was a reasonable price for a very filling and delicious meal. It’s cash only. The machine takes coins, 1000 and 2000 bills but the staff was able to give us change for a larger bill. Last thing to note is that the bathrooms are not western style toilets so avoid if that’s not your thing :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice place to rest and fill your belly after visiting the aquarium. The udon have a great texture, soup taste good and the tempura is nicely prepared. Free grape tea was a plus.
