N	Nich on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small little zoo, at the top of a mountain, over looking the city. It has just enough to see but not overwhelming. Great for kids, especially little ones that can’t walk so much. Price of admission is very reasonable. Make sure to check times for feedings and pettings.

D	Dan Pencoske on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's an okay zoo. Dated enclosures and all-around in need of some TLC. The red panda building seems to be the newest and nicest thing there. Fun for the kids, although the free dinosaur park next store might serve you better. There's a bus between Shinonoi Station and the zoo on weekends and holidays only. It's 300 yen for a round-trip ticket and it also gets you a discount on admission.

This is a kid-friendly, family-friendly zoo. It is very accessible too as it is just a 20-minute drive from the city center.
J	Janet Uchida on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This zoo is an abomination.The majority of the animals are kept in small concrete enclosures with barely enough room to roam, as they would in their natural environment. They are forced to endure freezing temperatures throughout the winter. The lone elephant is kept in a small, dark, and dank concrete room with hardly enough space to move and is clearly stressed, as are most of the animals. They should all be released to a sanctuary, not kept imprisoned like they are.

J	Jerry is Black on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fun-filled-friendly zoo. The place is super big, spacious for family and school trip. Haven't seen real elephant, tiger, lion, giraffe and bear in my entire life. 4 hrs was worth the drive. Picnics, dinosaur playgrounds and activities.
