They specialize in seafood so if you come looking for meat options, you're out of luck. Every dish was unique in it's own way and the flavors all melted together quite well. It's not a huge place so would recommend making reservations ahead of time. We sat on the counter seats and enjoyed watching them prepare the meals. The staff were friendly and surprisingly all spoke English rather than Japanese.
l	l lum on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A gem of a restaurant, tucked into a small alley in Ebisu. Went for a family celebration, three people, had fish carpaccio, soft shell crab tempura, fish tacos, the chowder, lobster risotto, seared tuna and desserts. We picked on each other’s dishes, and every single bite was tasty. Coming from Massachusetts, I am suspicious of any attempts to use lobster outside cape cod. Having read other reviews, I ordered the risotto, which has mushrooms (chanterelle I believe) and truffle oil, perfectly al dente, not heavy at all. Fish tacos were excellent, just the right proportion of everything. The soft shell crabs (two per serving) were crunchy and juicy, as they should be (and which many restaurants botch by over frying). The drink menu is short but satisfying. The mezcal mule is better than the high ball. Music, atmosphere, service, all flawless. Mango panna cotta was refreshing and just the right size. If I were to look for an improvement, I wish they served coffee, an espresso or just plain French press coffee would have been nice to close the evening. We will be back, so glad I found this place.

Everything I had was delicious, and the ambiance is laid back and chill. Open kitchen so you can watch the cook do his thing. Will be back for sure.

If you sit at the counter you can watch the chef prepare each dish or if you prefer a bit more privacy they have tables available, too. I’ve personally dined here a handful of times and will keep going back. The menu is altered seasonally and they offer set courses with wine to match. This is truly a unique experience and I cannot recommend it enough. 5/5
J	Jim on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Left with mixed feelings. The food is well-made, and some dishes were quite tasty. The owners are nice and their dog is adorable. But after reading the stellar reviews, I expected to be wowed, and I wasn’t. The price feels high for what you get (had the 7,000 yen course and still left hungry). And Tokyo has so many amazing options that cost less. All in all, I appreciate their effort and it was worth a try. But wouldn’t go back.
