★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stumbled upon Tappia Zakki many years ago in mid June when my daughter and were on a camping trip in the Tsugaru area. There are several fishing villages scattered along the coast and they are picturesque. The weather was blustery so we stayed in a bungalow, as we could not pitch our tent. The campsite is remote and at night during the off-season has the wonderful feeling of isolation and fosters introspection and quiet conversation. The rest of the world is pushed away to be confronted in the morning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spend my coldest night here, what a day it was, beautiful place, you can see Hokkaido very clearly with Naked eye,
Also close to Hokkaido Shinkansen tunnel,
There are only 2-3 vending machines, shop will close quite early, nearly convience store is Family Mart like 15 mins by Car

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cycled up in to look at at the very top of the cape in July. It's a bit of a climb, but on a clear day the views down the west of Honshu and out towards Hokkaido are spectacular. The wind can be quite strong, especially when leaving the lookout area and heading up towards the wind farm. Also, the visibility can be severely reduced once you get into the clouds, as I did.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice views. You won't need to spend long here though (maybe ten - twenty minutes) as there isn't much to do. Locals were friendly. Better views on nearby lookout point.
