お味はシンプルですがなかなか美味しかった。 シャラテッリというパスタは初めて食べましたが、見た目はフィットチーネに似ていて、よりモチモチしていて美味しかった。

The taste was simple, but it was quite delicious. I ate Scialatelli pasta for the first time, but it looked like Fitcine and was more chewy and delicious.

外観は僅かにカウンターがあり、店内ではお食事も楽しめます。
今回訪れたのは、カフェ利用でコーヒーとケーキのセット！
雰囲気としては、駅構内とは思えない雰囲気。
さすが品川駅だと感じました。
コーヒーはコーヒー豆にもこだわりがあるようで、苦いだけではなく、香ばしさに上品があり、とても素敵なティータイムを過ごさせていただきました。
今度はランチかディナーで来店して、ゆっくり過ごしたいと思いました。

今日はJR品川駅にあるCaffe Classica(カッフェ・クラシカ)さんにおじゃましました。
パスタコース 1490円を鶏白レバーのテリーヌとスパゲッティ ペコリーヌチーズとパンチェッタのグリーチャ風でオーダー。
ペコリーヌチーズは羊のミルクから作ったチーズ。パンチェッタはベーコンのことでグリーチャ風というのはチーズとベーコンのパスタのことらしい。パスタもテリーヌも美味しかったです。
ごちそうさまでした。
Pasta lunch at 100 famous stores in JR Shinagawa Station Naka
Today, I visited Caffe Classica at JR Shinagawa Station.
Order the pasta course 1490 yen with chicken white liver terrine, spaghetti pecoline cheese and pancetta greecha style.
Pecoline cheese is a cheese made from sheep's milk. Pancetta is bacon, and greecha-style is cheese and bacon pasta. Both the pasta and the terrine were delicious.
Thank you for the meal.

Good: it's quiet and convenient located inside Shinagawa Station.
Bad Experience: We arrived and there were only two other tables with people. We couldn't recognize anything that we identify as "Italian" on the menu. By the time we got the waiter to take our order the room filled with Japanese who ordered their meal immediately. Their orders were qued up ahead of ours though we were ready to order before them, and WE WERE IN A HURRY!
The waiter couldn't understand, "Cheese?" In Japanese Cheese Is the same word pronounced "Chizu." I asked him several times, "Chizu Desu Ka?" "Is this Cheese(while pointing at the pasta options). He was confused. He recommended a dish. I thought it was clear, so I took his suggestion. It was Cold Spaghetti Noodles with garlic oil, a very thin slice of ham, and Grapefruit slices. Little did I know, he recommended it because my other two guests had just ordered it.
We watched the people who came in after us be served large portions of what looked like what I asked for while the minutes ticked down to our train. Our, significantly smaller portion than other tables of cold noodles, arrived with only 3 minutes go eat before we had to leave.

It might look simple in this secluded corner of the station, but this is a place I used to go to at least once a week when I lived in Tokyo.
Just because it is very nice food with very affordable prices.
