When I asked my friend that there is a store where you can enjoy playing card games and drink, I was surprised to find Mini 4WD. The owner surely used to run a toy store in Nishi-Ogikubo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ カード&カフェの名前の通りですが、シングルカードを買えるカードショップを期待していくと期待を裏切られるだろうし、静かなカフェを期待していくと周りの賑やかさにびっくりすると思います。(ミニ四駆の大会もありますが)やはり「カード&カフェ」という名前がピッタリなような気がします。
平日・休日問わず、カードゲームやミニ四駆の大会が開催されています。公式サイトはあまり更新されていないので、その日にどんな大会がやっているのかを調べるにはTwitterや各カードゲーム公式のイベントカレンダーを確認した方が良いでしょう。
客層の大半が学生のためか、大会のない平日の昼間から夕方にかけては静かです。カフェの利用だけでも可能なので、コーヒーを飲みながら友達と話をするのも良いかもしれません。
メニューは日替わりで選択肢は多くありませんが、夕食+ドリンクで1,000円くらいの予算感です。
As the name of Card & Cafe suggests, expecting a card shop where you can buy single cards will disappoint you, and expecting a quiet cafe will surprise you with the liveliness of the surrounding area. (Although there is also a Mini 4WD tournament) I feel that the name "Card & Cafe" is perfect.
Card games and Mini 4WD competitions are held on weekdays and holidays. The official website hasn't been updated much, so it's a good idea to check Twitter and the official event calendar for each card game to find out what tournaments are going on that day.
Most of the customers are students, and it is quiet from daytime to evening on weekdays when there are no competitions. You can just use the cafe, so it might be a good idea to have a cup of coffee and talk to your friends.
The menu changes daily and there are not many choices, but the budget is about 1,000 yen for dinner and drinks.
