マンションと住宅街に囲まれています。
古墳は手入れがされておらず草木が鬱蒼と茂っています。
全長約50mの前方後円墳。
後円部径約30m・高さ約7m、前方部幅約38m・高さ約6m、葺石・埴輪を備える。
墳丘の周囲には盾形の濠がめぐっていたようだが、現在では確認できない。後円部南側に両袖型の横穴式石室が存在したようだ。6世紀後半の築造。前橋市指定史跡、1997（平成9）年指定。
It is located on the premises of a private parking lot.
Surrounded by condominiums and residential areas.
The burial mounds are unmaintained and have thick vegetation.
A front tumulus with a total length of about 50m.
The diameter of the rear part is about 30m, the height is about 7m, the width of the front part is about 38m, and the height is about 6m.
It seems that there was a shield-shaped moat around the mound, but it is not confirmed now. It seems that there was a double-sleeve sided stone room on the south side of the rear circle. Construction in the second half of the 6th century. Maebashi City designated historic site, designated in 1997.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 一見すると、何のこと無い古墳ですけど……周辺を宅地に囲まれていながら〜今でも更地にされず保存されていることには驚きであり大切な事だと思います！
６世紀頃の地元豪族のお墓なのでしょうね…遺物をきちんと発掘調査して、この先も文化財保護されて行くよう望みます。
At first sight, there is nothing to do with an old tumulus ...... While being surrounded by the residential area around ~ I still think that it is surprising and important that what is preserved without being vacated!
It seems to be a grave of the local clan around the 6th century ... I'm hoping to excavate the artifacts properly and continue to protect the cultural properties in the future.
