The hotel rooms were kept very clean. From the moment we pulled up we felt taken care of. What a dream vacation we had.

Front desk clerk was extremely helpful in helping me with a special request. The general ***ager personally oversaw our needs and made sure to welcome us. We were happy to come back in future.
M	Mary-Anne Lee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Deco was old but staff were hospitable and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfy but you will see bugs since it's right up against trees. There are two private baths on top of the gender segregated public ones and both are free to book (and a nice lil experience). You can also borrow board games or an SNES to your room for free. Although walkable from Shuzenji Temple it may be hard to get there without a taxi if you have luggage. No food in the immediate vicinity so eat first before check in if you didn't purchase the meal additions.

There is karaoke room but we didn't have the time to enter. The staff at the hotel were among the most attentive I've ever experienced.
J	Jim Smith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Where do I begin? The rooms seemed clean, but the corridors and elevators smelled strongly of mould. The toilet area had a strange smell. Everything here screams "save money", and I don't believe there were any English speaking staff. They appeared to be short-staffed and the public toilets were anything but clean. Most things here are old, as if the management is trying to get life out of them until they break. Nothing seems to be maintained. The breakfast was all from a tin or package, they had the scintillating selection of fish, salad, sausages, (powdered) scrambled egg, and curry...there was also no breakfast tea. The beds were very soft and the linen was clean, but there's a bizarre plastic wrapped tunnel connecting reception to the rooms with holes in it (another cost saving issue). There's free coffee and drinks at the bar area, and the public onsen was good, but the private onsen was mixed with hot tap water and you could smell the fumes from the boiler.
