★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An update to this review. I’ve eaten here about 20 times now. I’ve had three bad meals. Two mediocre and one remarkably bad steak. It happens, but when I notified the manager I got some “ tut tuts” and “such a shame” and then was charged full price. They took zero responsibility for their failure. That’s frankly unacceptable at this price point. Unfortunately I will not be back. I’m not rolling the dice at this price.

Steaks are truly exceptional. You know they are serious when you see a Hanger as a feature cut. Tried that and on another night had the bone in dry aged ribeye which my wife and I shared. Perfectly prepared and seasoned. Wonderful kitchen. A few minor negatives: wine pours are very small. The atmosphere is a little stale, especially if it isn’t full. No baked potato!
Service was great and everyone has very good English skills.
Prices seem high but the quality is there. Split the bone in ribeye with your date. You will leave very full and very pleased.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ no reservation required but expensive - only visit when you have enough time for a slow lunch. private dining rooms can be extremely noisy if you have noisy crowds next to your room.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was very unimpressed with the food. The restaurant and service is very nice though. The puffy bread is neat but tasteless. The cheap lunch steak also lacking flavor. Topper is dessert macaroon hard center ugg. On flip side salad was very nice and coffee good. For 2800 yen it's a good deal for a semi fancy place with good staff service so may come back to try something else. Hopefully new chef by then.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent all around. Delicious food, good service. One of the few upscale restaurants here that would accommodate my four-year old. They had a kids menu that included basic and upscale options. For the adults, steaks were yummy. Wine was also very good. Very happy and will return.
