周囲は商業的なものを含めた施設が多数並んでおり、且つ琵琶湖を横断する琵琶湖大橋と直結するため、平日・休日問わず慢性的な渋滞が発生する。そのため、バスの到着に遅れが生じやすい（場合により大幅な遅れが生じる）。さらに、琵琶湖からの強い風が吹き付け、バス停にはそれを遮る設備が無いため、特に冬場、バスを待っているのは非常に辛い。
待ちやすい環境整備か、あるいは到着までの時間が表示されるような工夫や整備が必要である。
 I felt that fundamental improvement was required only at the important bus stop at the intersection that connects the roads to Moriyama and Otsu.
The surrounding area is lined with a large number of facilities, including commercial facilities, and is directly connected to the Lake Biwa Bridge that crosses Lake Biwa, causing chronic congestion on weekdays and weekends. Therefore, the arrival of the bus is likely to be delayed (may cause a significant delay). Furthermore, the strong wind from Lake Biwa blows and there is no facility to block it at the bus stop, so it is very difficult to wait for the bus, especially in winter.
It is necessary to create an environment that is easy to wait for, or to devise and improve so that the time until arrival is displayed.
