If you pay just 500JPY,you can use this park(additional charge is needed for using some facilities )
Very big playground for kids,
Restaurant inside a building(air conditioning),
Some accommodations,
BBQ field
Enjoying swimming at BIWA lake.
Go with your kids, and they will completely like it .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for kids and family. Also have payed BBQ site. Many people set up their tents and enjoy with kids.No entrance fee but a parking fee of 500 for a normal car size

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a large plot of land with a lot of various children's playground equipment. You can walk through to view the lake, but there are a number of other vantage points to do the same elsewhere. It is not so well maintained as the fountains and water features have been left to dry up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for kids. Playground is free of charge. Some of activities you have to pay but it’s around ¥500-300. Parking is ¥500. kids love this place. You can bring your own food
and drink. There is cafeteria and it’s Decent quality and pretty cheap. Good palace to visit with family.

The games for kids are really nice!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lot of activities for kids. There is a restaurant inside too.. Parking is not a problem. If you have kids you can spend atleast 4to 5 hours.. On the way to Kodomo no kuni, you would see thousands of Sakura trees. Best time to visit is 1st week if April

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic place to spend a whole day with your family, specially if you have little kids. Plenty of things to do, outdoor and indoor playgrounds, a small restaurant in case you decide not to bring obento, an area for BBQ, etc, and all for the price of the parking fee (500 yen for the whole day). Highly recommend as a day trip from Kyoto.
