The bathing fee is 150 yen! Purchase a bathing ticket at the ticket machine. The coin locker for valuables is rare 50 yen. It can not be exchanged at the stand, so if you don't pay 50 yen, it might be better to bring only 150 yen for the bath fee. By the way, it is not a return ceremony. The tub is large enough to be filled with 5 to 6 people. Source sinking. A very pleasant fountain temperature around 40 degrees. Good hot water The soft and gentle hot water has smooth skin, and it has become a pokka poka to the core of the body. By the way, this Daishiyu, Tencho 2 years (825), the seat lord of the Hieizan Enryaku-ji Temple, was named as it was bathed in favor of the construction of the Kita-ku Kannon-do. It is said that the story that the villager who feared the nobles finally pulled out the highlight of the tree statue is also a legend related to this Daishiyu because the wooden statues of Anuraji Kaizan Yakuya and Nijo Young Bulls are bathed at night.

December 2020 Stay at the inn in front of you. Go to Daishiyu in the morning. Purchase a 150 yen ticket at the ticket vending machine. This is more comfortable than the hot springs at the inn where I stayed.

2022/3/19 Revisited Whenever I come to Nagano, I almost always use it. The usage time is from 6:00 to 22:00. The public parking lot can be parked for free until 9 am, so it's perfect for a morning bath. The entrance fee has been changed to 150 yen. If you soak in hot water for 10 minutes, you can feel the effect of the hot spring that lowers your body temperature for the time being. It's my favorite hot spring, so I'd like to stop by again if I have a chance.

One of the three communal baths in Bessho Onsen, all at 6: 00-22: 00 and cheap at 150 yen. Since each has a different regular holiday, be sure to put it in one of them. Although it is a sulfur spring, it has almost no egg odor, is colorless and transparent, and is almost tasteless and odorless, and there is no particular Yunohana. For the boiled egg feeling, there is a Bessho No. 4 source where you can drink at the drinking fountain in front of Ishiyu. A place where you want to take a free-flowing bath from the No. 4 source.

When Jikaku Daishi calms the fire that broke out in Tohoku in Bessho in 825 with the hot water derived from Ennin Jikaku Ambassador, the lord of Hieizan Enryakuji Temple, Kannon Bosatsu appeared with purple clouds and established Kitamuki Kannon to head north. I worshiped at Kannon. At that time, Jikaku Daishi liked to soak in this hot water, so it was named Daishi-yu. Although it is an old building, it seems to be well maintained and used cleanly. The bathtub was small with only the indoor bath, but a considerable amount of hot water was poured into the bathtub vigorously.
