★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昔は旧新潟駅、新潟の公衆電話発祥の地とされ、しばらく前まで何年か工事のため閉鎖されていた。地下は水道施設だっただろうか。そして、これから数年後には新しい道路ができるためなくなってしまうのだとか。かつては活気のあった場所だが、どんどん形を変えていくようだ。
