Small room, decent beers, nice food (from oden-ya next door possibly, but I'd kill for oden at a Seattle or Portland brewery!). Def pulling for them to keep brewing and looking forward, being progressive. Brewery name is Ichijo-ya. I will come back. Getting "tired" of nisemono Spring Valley (aka Kirin--they absolutely need to up their game more--and aim with their deep pockets to stretch and lead the Japanese palate to the deeply respected distant shores it needs to go). In other words: Spring Valley is here in Kyoto, but I ain't going.i'd come here to Ichijo-ya first easily! (｡•̀ᴗ-)و ̑̑✧
D	Dee Tran on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food: burger was not what I was expecting. It was okay, was not juicy nor did they serve burgers here with cheese. Too tomato-y for my taste. Bun was good but no use if the meat isn’t good. Fries: over cooked and dark... Beer: Destroy angel IPA was delicious but serious just come here for the beers only. And yes like a few people mentioned that it’s a bit pricy for being small portions for both food and drinks. I’m a petite gal and I’m gonna need to eat again soon after this ?

They failed get our order correct so we left to get food elsewhere. Beer nice and appetisers “Obanzai”. Perhaps on a different night things could be better so please give it a go.

V	Vaughn Highfield on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great beer selection of self-brewed craft, reasonable prices (as far as Japanese craft seems to go), and the bar itself and a great atmosphere. Didn't order food so can't comment, but it seems to have a large range of izakaya-style food so if you're peckish you should be able to find something for yourself too
