★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would say that the only unpleasant experience during my Japan trip was the night in Beer Kitchen and I recommend you not to visit this place!
We got nacho chips with salsa.
It was ok, nacho chips which you can see at wall mart in $1... nothing special and we had NO doubt it was a complimentary.
When we finished our humble snack and drink and got our bill, it made us really surprised cause the final bill we had to pay was more than the X2 of the price we thought and they included the table charge without any notice and the nacho was served to us for that reason.
The waiter gave us an advice that we should learn the culture of the country before we visit some place. This night was enough to change the whole impression of the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A narrow bar with a good selection of Spanish beer. As the bar is called the beer bar, you would really expect nothing less. We didn’t try the food, but the beer was ok. The barman however was a little forgetful and more interested in watching the World Cup than pouring our beers as we had to remind him of our order a few times. He was helped by a local japanese member of staff who was also attending the kitchen and seemed to be able to attend the kitchen and help us with our drinks better then his colleague. Anyway it was an entertaining night apart from the minor delays in keeping our lips wet, this is a good place to come if you’re in the area and want a bar with a good atmosphere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We liked this place until we got the bill. We have two beers (supposed to be 450 yen each) and two cocktails (600 each), and olive marinee (400 yen), and we were charged 4,100 yen at the end. No breakdown. So.... is the table charge (お通し）for one person 800 yen?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Expect to pay a huge amount of table charge - otoshi in Japanese to have low quality drinks at this tiny bar.
It was not even an interesting traditional otoshi. We got a plate of simple nachos and were charged 1500 yen + 8% tax.
The waiter/bartender is quite rude and his service was terrible.
If you are looking for a place to chill, enjoying nice ambience, this place shoud not be your choice!
