Boy salad and fried chicken perfect end to a day in one of Tokyo’s more charming neighborhoods. Everyone happy to try a conversation with a non-Japanese speaker.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a great addition to the neighborhood ! Reasonably priced beers on draft that change regularly. The karaage is quite tasty, as are their daily specials. I once had an oyster topped with uni and caviar which was out of this world. Awesome spot if you want to meet a friend for a few casual drinks in a lively atmosphere!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's hard to find serious and true IPA's in Tokyo. baird beer and many others promise the 'true thing'. Coming from NZ, where they take IPA matters quite seriously (is a national thing), this bar delivers right up there. No english is spoken but a little bit is enough to get to the right serious Japanese IPA's and boy they do deliver. I had the Noboribetsu Ji Beer Onidesentsu Kinoni Pale Ale (7.5%) and it seriously good! Highly recommended bar. On the bad side, for some reason they wont allow you to seat, so you have to drink and or eat, standing

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Craft beers on tap. Steak sandwiches..get the heck out of here ! Friendly service..slinging drinks. This building has a lot of structural integrity. I crunched into my sandwich with all of my might, this place didn't move an inch.
