★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 磐梯熱海温泉の最寄り駅で駅内に磐梯熱海萩ちゃんのタッチパネルモニターがあり、温泉及び周辺施設を紹介してくれる。隣には温泉共同組合があり、グッズ購入の他、駅の出口に足湯があり無料で入れる。因みに待合所に一箇所だけピアノのベンチがある。
At the nearest station to Bandai-Atami Onsen, there is a touch panel monitor of Bandai-Atami Hagi-chan in the station, which introduces the hot springs and surrounding facilities. There is a hot spring cooperative next door, where you can buy goods and have a footbath at the exit of the station for free. By the way, there is only one piano bench in the waiting area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 磐梯熱海温泉へ行く最寄り駅です。ローカル線が通る小さな温泉街なので静かです。駅周辺は、これと言った施設もなく散策には不向き。ワンマン運行が始まりローカルルールによる乗降になった。車内にアナウンスが流れるが、慣れていないので、理解するのに時間がかかります。
This is the nearest station to go to Bandai Atami Onsen. It is quiet because it is a small hot spring town with local lines. The area around the station is not suitable for strolling because there is no such facility. One-man operation started and boarding and disembarking according to local rules. Announcements flow in the car, but they are unfamiliar and take time to understand.

駅舎を出て５０Mくらいのところに、足湯があります。
また、温泉に向かう線路沿いの道に風雅な屋根のかかったプロムナードがあります。
線路を渡ると、駅からも見上げられる水力発電の施設があります。
