Situated in the Northern Prefecture of Akita, Banafi offers a wide selection of ice creams, sodas, potato snacks, and even home-brewed sake. The shop is staffed by a delightful - though at times impatient - older chap sporting a soft whip of white hair. Make sure to ask him about the Banafi Ice Cream Sundae: Bonus points if you ask him in his native Akita dialect.
