★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very beautiful path through the bamboo patch. In the middle, there is a circular seating area where you can sit down/lie down and look directly up through the canopy of the bamboos. (See photo in post) Absolutely stunning and super relaxing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although the bamboo forest is small, if youre looking for a place where you can enjoy onsen and a scenic view i would recommend this place because it is not too crowded like kyoto and it is also near tokyo. You can just ride the shinkansen and ride train to reach this place. The area is also surrounded by restaurants and cafe. You can also explore the area on foot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This area is very delightful and wonderful to visit with local stores, restaurants and souvenir shops, with unique welcoming atmosphere. The people were very welcoming and warm. The place is not only about the Bamboo path, I would rather say instead of forest, because the bamboo area is not big at all. There's a very small geothermal hotspring in the river which is worth to visit.
